The Black Parent Pride Summit owes me absolutely nothing! If you’ve been following along, you already know that I have been given the great opportunity to work with xHood creator Mia Cooley for about a year now. When Mia told me about her idea for this conference, it was a no brainer that I would be available in whichever capacity she needed me to.

See, this all started a few years ago as a Facebook group for Black Queer Moms + Parents. I found the group in search of community, and what I found was a family! Mia + my xHood Mod-Mins.. I am so proud of you and of us! This vision became a reality and I cannot wait for the next one!
